Pastor Daniel Morton was born into a family that has altogether too many pastors in it (1 grandfather, 1 father, 3 uncles, 1 brother and 1 sister-in-law). He honestly tried to pursue careers outside of the ministry, both professional wrestling and video store clerk were paths well considered but with Pastor Dan being a rotund and un-athletic 5 foot7 inches and video stores going the way of the Dodo, the “family business” eventually forced him into submission.

Upon graduating from Saint Cloud State University with a well earned Bachelor of Elective Studies degree, Daniel attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota where he would receive a Masters of Divinity.

Daniel and his wife Olivia moved to Fertile at the end of 2012 and then promptly expanded their family to include two cats and two children. Despite what you may have read in the preceding paragraph, Daniel dearly loves being a pastor and getting to craft and deliver sermons. As a matter of fact Daniel has no idea what he would do with life if he were not a pastor. To relax Daniel enjoys watching far too much television, playing way too many video games and spending not enough time with his family.
